Generously endowed by the POK Private Foundation, the ISK at the Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien is at the forefront of modern endowment research. Professor Stoughton was co-head of this institute and directed its research activities. The endowment center is one of a kind in Europe and promotes the use and greater reliance on endowment funding for European universities.
